Conversion Rules of the Multi-currency Margin Model – Coincall Exchange

In the multi-currency margin account model, different currency assets are collectively converted to USDT values for margin usage. Due to variations in market liquidity for different currencies, the platform applies discounts when calculating the actual USDT values of each currency to balance market risks. The current conversion rates for different currencies are set as follows (the platform may periodically adjust these parameters based on actual conditions):

Example:

* Assuming an account is funded with 1 BTC and 20,000 USDT, calculate the overall available margin:

With the BTC/USDT index price at 40,000, the USDT value of 1 BTC is 40,000.

As it falls within the [0, 5000000] USDT range, the corresponding discount coefficient is 0.98.

Thus, the converted USDT value is 40,000 * 0.98 = 39,200 USDT. The overall available margin in the account is 39,200 + 20,000 = 59,200 USDT.

* If the account is funded with only 200 BTC, calculate the overall available margin:

With the BTC/USDT index price at 40,000, the USDT value of 200 BTC is 8,000,000.

It falls within the [0, 5000000] USDT range, corresponding to a discount coefficient of 0.98, and within the (5000000, 20000000] USDT range, corresponding to a discount coefficient of 0.95.

The converted USDT value is 5,000,000* 0.98 + (8,000,000-5,000,000)*0.95 = 7,750,000 USDT.

Therefore, the overall available margin in the account is 7,750,000 USDT, which can be used for trading perpetual, options, and other derivatives.
