With BTC spot around $80,300, consider an illustrative 14-week BTC Accumulator with a $75,000 accumulation priceand an $87,000 Knock-Out level. The accumulation price is approximately 6.6% below the starting spot price.
The base contract is 1 BTC, spread evenly across 14 weekly observations. This gives a normal weekly accumulation amount of approximately 0.0714286 BTC.
Each Thursday, the observation price determines the amount accumulated:
If BTC is above $75,000 and below $87,000:
The client purchases approximately 0.0714286 BTC at $75,000. For example, an observation price of $83,000 results in the normal weekly purchase at the agreed accumulation price.
If BTC is at or below $75,000:
The 1-for-1 double-up applies. The client purchases the normal weekly amount plus an equal additional amount, bringing that week’s total to approximately 0.1428571 BTC, all at $75,000. An observation price of $72,000 would therefore trigger the doubled purchase. The purchase obligation continues at $75,000 even when the market price is lower.
If BTC reaches $87,000 at any point during the term:
Under this example’s continuously monitored Knock-Out terms, the accumulator terminates immediately. There is no accumulation for the current week and no further purchase obligation. Previously accumulated BTC or its settled cash equivalent remains with the client.
For a schedule beginning November 12, 2026, the 14th and final Thursday observation falls on February 11, 2027, unless the Knock-Out occurs earlier.
Contract size is flexible. A 0.1 BTC base contract would accumulate approximately 0.0071429 BTC in a normal week or 0.0142857 BTC in a double-up week. For the 1 BTC base example, total purchases could reach 2 BTC if every observation triggers the double-up and no Knock-Out occurs.
